I’m a teacher librarian in Sonoma County, CA. I only started this job in Fall 2016, but I’ve been working in higher education for many years, and earned my MLIS degree back in 2013. Trying to see how I like working every day with kids after so many years working with adults.

Before this I worked in both art and the food industry. I like to learn and be creative, and that is what keeps me going.  I get discouraged and bogged down by red tape.  I hate filling out forms and filing.  I love helping people research and be creative.

This blog is a place for me to reflect on and respond to some of the trends in librarianship and what I see as I work with young people, reading, creating, digital life and more.
